    JOHN H. EADS

    Co-Founder & CEO

    John H. Eads has over 30 years of experience successfully building healthcare companies. He is an expert in developing and implementing strategies to improve their revenue growth, performance, and profitability. John has lead several healthcare companies to long-term growth and successful cash-out events.

     

    Prior to founding PLEXUS Healthcare Strategies, John held various leadership positions at athenahealth from 2000 - 2012. Joining athenahealth as a small start-up in 2000, John built and lead Group Sales, Enterprise Sales and developed athenahealth’s partnership strategy and teams. He also worked as Sr. VP for health tech company Cureatr. In his role, John built the organization’s sales strategy and revenue generation engine and teamed with the CEO to close a multi-million dollar Series A round of funding. John was a Co-Founder of several other healthcare technology companies including SuccessEHS (Greenway Health) and Salcris Systems (Reynolds & Reynolds).

     

    John received his Bachelor degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

    GREG PAULUS

    Co-Founder & President

    Greg has nearly 25 years of healthcare leadership experience where he successfully led various sales, account management, and business development teams. He is an expert in emerging value-based care models, workflow and process focused technology, business growth partnerships, and sales.

     

    Prior to founding PLEXUS Healthcare Strategies, Greg held various roles at athenahealth where he developed and managed channel partnerships, and sold healthcare technology and services to hospitals, health systems, and medical groups of all sizes.

     

    He also worked as Vice President of Sales at Cureatr where he designed and built the company’s growth strategy and sales pipeline. In addition, Greg has over eleven years of experience working at pharmaceutical company Pfizer in sales and health plan account management.

     

    Greg received his Bachelor degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

    Karissa has over 15 years of experience in business development, product, design, marketing, and advertising in various leadership roles and entrepreneur ventures. She led sales and marketing at Wax Custom Communications, an award winning national marketing agency. In addition she has had leadership roles at Patient Point and The Greeley Company leading turn around efforts and increasing her responsible book of business over 400%.  She has a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth in competitive business markets and providing measurable improvements to company’s brand awareness and revenue. Most recently she has consulted for healthcare technology startups on brand positioning, product development, content creation, marketing, customer profiling and sales strategy.
